How do I obtain a NOC if I have lost my Registration Certificate (RC) for a vehicle under finance with KMP?

You may obtain the NOC for a duplicate Registration Certificate (RC) for your vehicle loan, by visiting our branch and submitting the following documents - (check Locate us section to get the address of location nearest to you) A request letter (Click in Form Centre to download the request form.) and self-attested copy of sign proof ( PAN card copy / Passport Copy/Driving License Copy-kindly bring Original for Verification). A self-attested copy of the Registration Certificate is required along with Requisite charges. (Click Charges and Fees section). Self attested copy of the Registration Certificate book. Copy of FIR from police. In case a bearer submits the request on your behalf, a bearer authorisation along with KYC documents(self attested Copy and original for validation) of the bearer,i.e. Identity and Signature Proof like PAN Card, Aadhar Card, Driving License or Passport Copy will also need to be provided.

How do I obtain a NOC for fitting an LPG/CNG kit on my vehicle under finance with KMP?

You can visit our branch with following documents - To know the nearest branch address kindly go to Locate a Branch on our Website We request you to carry a request letter (format available in Service Request Form Tab -Select Request Forms For NOCs) and self-attested copy of signature proof (PAN card copy / Passport Copy/Driving License Copy , along with Original documents). A self-attested copy of the Registration Certificate is required along with Requisite charge of Rs.2000/- plus GST. In case a bearer submits the request on your behalf, a bearer authorisation along with KYC documents (self attested copy and original documents) of the bearer, i.e. Identity and Signature Proof like PAN Card, Aadhar Card, Driving License or Passport Copy also needs to be provided. Alternatively you can Email us the scan copy of the above mentioned documents post making Online payment of Rs.2248/- by using the Online Web pay option which is available on our website. Once the payment is made, you will get a confirmation for the same. We request you to kindly mail the acknowledgement received on [email protected]. On the receipt of the mail from your end we shall process your NOC and the same shall be sent to you via courier within 3 working days.

What is the process for TDS reimbursement and what are the documents required?

For the reimbursement of the TDS paid to the government following documents are required - Original cancelled cheque (Name and account number should be clearly mentioned) Original Form 16 A (with stamp in case of proprietorship) Request of refund on letterhead Correct Pan No. of KMPL - AAACK5934A The Refund of TDS certificate will be given only if the Credit of the same reflects in TRACES. Hence, the TDS certificate should be promptly submitted to KMPL. Any inordinate delay may result in rejection of the TDS refund. TDS Certificate to be submitted by the customer on Quarterly basis upon filing of TDS return. However TDS certificate can be accepted till the time Income tax Return is filed by KMPL.

What is TDS?

Tax Deducted at source. Since KMPL is a Non-Banking Financial Institution, interest paid to KMPL is liable to TDS as per the provisions of Sec 194A of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Customers who are liable to deduct TDS are requested to submit the original TDS certificate with KMPL office. Please ensure that TDS certificates reach our office on a quarterly basis and acknowledgement of same is received and kept by you.

How can I obtain my un-banked PDC or Security cheques?

The unutilized post-dated cheque(s)/any other additional cheque(s) will be retained at our end and shall be destroyed after 45days from date of termination of contract unless a contrary request of return of cancelled cheque(s) shall be received from your end within 45 days of termination date. In case the Current Address is different than on records with us, we request you to get a self-attested Address Proof for same.

After loan is over, do I get a NOC? What is the process?

A No Objection Certificate (NOC) is given after the account is terminated with us. Along with the NOC customer gets 2 Form 35, which helps the customer to remove the Hypothecation clause from the RC Book provided there are no dues pending in customers account. Customer to ensure that the cancellation of Hypothecation is done within 60 days as NOC is valid only for 60 days. In case the Current Address is different than on records with us, we request you to get a self-attested Address Proof for same.

How can I get my new address updated under my loan account?

You need to send a written request along with a self-certified copy of the new address proof document to our Kotak Mahindra Prime office in your location. (Check Locate us section to get the address of location nearest to you) for carrying out the change in correspondence address of your loan account. You need to enclose any one of the following documents - Photocopy of electricity bill / Telephone bill /postpaid mobile phone bill/ Piped Gas Bill / Voter Id card /Aadhar card /Agreement for sale or Rent agreement along with landlord bill. (If the current residence is rented) as a proof of your current address. (All Utility bills , should not be more than two months old.) You need to self-attest the said address proof. Also a self-attested copy of signature proof is required which could be PAN card copy / Passport Copy/Driving License Copy along with Original Documents. Post receipt of the above mentioned documents, the new address will be updated in our records within 3 working days.

What is the breakup of the pre-payment amount?

The foreclosure amount comprises of - Principal outstanding as on day of prepayment. Applicable pre-payment charge on the Principal outstanding amount plus GST. Applicable pre-payment charge on the Principal outstanding amount. Pro rata Interest (Interest between due dates). Any other overdue charges.

How do I update my mobile number or e-mail ID registered under my loan account?

You can login to the customer portal and create a Service request for the same. Select Subject as Contact Details and update your New contact details and Email ID and submit the request. Alternatively visit our KMPL branch with a valid signature proof - PAN card copy / Passport Copy/Driving License Copy along with Original documents and submit an application for same.

How can I obtain Interest Certificate for IT Purposes?

Statement required for Income tax purpose is called Interest Certificate. The same is a yearly statement and it provides total principal and interest paid for a particular financial year. Customer has to log-in to Customer Portal and download the same from the Statement Section.

What is a Foreclosure report and how can I obtain the same.

This report gives the total outstanding amount which the customer has to pay if he pre-closes his account fully. Customer has to visit our branch to obtain a physical copy . To know the nearest branch address kindly go to Locate a Branch on our Website . We request you to carry a request letter (format available in Service Request Form Tab ---Select Request Forms For Deliverables) and self-attested copy of PAN card copy / Passport Copy/Driving License along with Original documents. The Charge for the foreclosure statement is Rs. 250/- plus GST. In case a bearer submits the request on your behalf, a bearer authorisation along with his/her KYC documents (self attested copy and original documents) of the bearer, i.e. Identity and Signature Proof like PAN Card, Aadhar Card, Driving license or Passport Copy also needs to be provided.

What is a Statement of Account and how can I obtain the same.

Statement of Account also known as track record, this statement gives details as to how the repayment has been done by the customer towards his car loan contract. . You may obtain a Statement of Account for your loan account, free of charge by log-in to our customer portal and download the same from the Statement Section. Alternatively, Customer has to visit our branch with a request letter and self-attested copy of sign proof (PAN card copy / Passport Copy/Driving License Copy - Please bring Original for Verification) along with requisite charges. Repayment Schedule is also known as Amortization schedule, this statement gives break up of Principal and Interest every month from the beginning to the end of the tenure. . You may obtain a Duplicate Repayment Schedule for your loan account, free of charge by log-in to our customer portal and download the same from the Statement Section. Alternatively, Customer has to visit our branch with a request letter and self attested copy of sign proof (PAN Card copy/ Passport Copy/Driving License Copy-Please bring Original for Verification) along with requisite charges. How can I Prepay my Car Loan?

To facilitate prepayment of your Car Loan, you are required to visit KMPL branch along with the below mentioned documents to complete the prepayment process- 1. Request letter signed by the customer (available on the site in Form Center named as Foreclosure Covering letter) 2. Copy of Self attested PAN Card of the customer (For cash payment above Rs.50, 000). 3. Vehicle Registration Certificate (R C Book Copy) 4. Mode of payment can be cash, cheque or demand draft payable at par favouring Kotak Mahindra Prime Ltd. Account no. CF-XXXXXXX. 5. Mode of payment can be Cash subject to regulatory limits. Customer's Self attested sign proof - PAN card copy/ Aadhar Card copy/Passport Copy/Driving License Copy (Please bring Original for Verification). Can I Prepay my loan?

Yes, one can prepay the loan fully with a prepayment charge as applicable on the outstanding principal amount.

How is the Rate of Interest calculated?

Rate of Interest is calculated on Reducing Balance method.

What are the Post disbursement documents required to be submitted?

The Borrower shall submit the copy of the Registration Certificate relevant to the vehicle for which the loan has been taken along with copy of Insurance Policy and Invoice.
